We were to pay an orphanage a visit on the day this article was written, and we put a call through to an orphanage in Ketu Lagos. A woman picked up the phone from the other end. She began speaking to me in an Indian language. I had to repeat my words in English for her to switch.
After she informed me that they don't allow for visit at the moment, probably due to the corona virus issue, I thanked her and hung up, and then proceeded to search for other orphanages, only to realize no one has written about it.
This brought serious concern to me. It tells me how little people care about orphans. And I was challenged to write down a list of all the orphanages in Nigeria. Trust me it's not a small job, but it is not impossible to achieve.

There are several orphanage homes in Nigeria, unfortunately there are few information about them. Many who have the interest of visiting one are not even aware of the homes around them. This is because not many of those orphanage homes are online. So we took it upon ourselves to do something about it. However we can't do this without your help.
While we are trying to collate the list of all the orphanage homes in Nigeria, we would also appreciate that you provide us with details of any orphanage home around you or far away from you (name of the orphanage, phone number and address of their location). You can do that in the comment box and we assure you it will go a very long way.
